Tall Timber

These photographs were taken last month at the Cook Hospital, where some of the exceptionally tall and straight pines are being felled to provide the hospital with firing and timber. The best among the trees are milled to provide timber for maintenance and other work "on the hill". Trees are 25 to 30 years old, and many were 100 feet high.
