The residents of the Cook Hospital Memorial Home were given a nice treat recently when Country and Western singer John Hore entertained them in the social room for an hour. He sang many old favourites which were much enjoyed by those present.

The Gisborne West Rotary Club also entertained the residents at an early evening concert recently, during which a presentation was made to the Home. This was a set of 36 large print books which are ideal for folks who are finding it a little more difficult to read these days.
