66 Years Since...

A brother and sister who had not seen each other for 66 years met again in Gisborne recently, Mr R. V. (Tiny) O'Meara, Hospital Road, was reunited with his sister, Mrs Ella Prout, after all that time. Mr O'Meara left the family home in Bass, Gypsland, Australia, when he was 19, and came to New Zealand, where he has been ever since. Mrs Prout was only seven when her brother came away. She and her husband, Stan, now live in Somerville, Victoria, and were on holiday when they came to Gisborne.
