Insurance Social

A social "five-to-seven" for associates of the Dominion Life Assurance Office (D.L.O.) in Gisborne was held in the company's social room recently. This was an opportunity, also, to welcome the general manger of New Zealand, Colin Brown, on his visit to the district. Guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks, and during the evening were given a short resume of the company's view on the Government's proposed New Zealand Superannuation Scheme.
