Elementary Home Nursing Certificates were presented to nine Red Cross examinees by Red Cross Society president Miss Greita Clifford-Jones (left), recently. Those gaining certificates were, from left, at back, Lynnette Wallen, Rosalyn Bayram, Evelyn Roe, Elizabeth Fahey and Carol Shelton. At right are instructors Elizabeth Hill and Jean Cousens. In front, Mary White, Joy Kinloch, Diane Cooper and Mary Alley. The last three named were also awarded their Communal Health and Hygiene Certificates.

The Society has also acquired an Ambu Manikin. These are plastic models which enable members to practice mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in the correct way. The model manikin.
