—For Plunket Society members and all their guests who attended the Plunket and Bryan's Pharmacy sponsored Saki Evening at the Sandown Hotel. The Japanese theme was carried out, with saki being served in an Oriental atmosphere. Highlight of the evening was a demonstration of skin care by Shiseido's head beauty consultant, Colleen Ferguson, of Auckland. A movie from Japan, demonstrating the 100-year-old firm's products was also shown. (You should have seen the gorgeous Japanese dolly-bird they used as a model!)
