Power to Burn

Speed and power to burn was the order of the day in the Radio Gisbornesponsored Powerboat Race. 'Formula' took the honours once again, in the big event, with Gisborne's 'Stiletto' winning the One-Hour Open Speed section. Also unlucky, once again in this race, was Ivan Boyce in 'Tara Too', which broke down with only two miles to go.
