Our Cover

Sally Lawton, 20, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. H. Lawton, Dickson Street, is our first Cover girl for 1973. Sally, who is a teller with the A.N.Z. Bank, won the Radio 2ZG Miss Gisborne Beach Girl Contest on New Year's Day. She is interested in sewing, reading, swimming, fishing and travel. Sally is also in the centre of the picture Below, and she is shown with the second placegetter in the contest, Cynthia Wilton (left), and Cherry Mason (third). Back Cover . This is the crackerjack Gisborne Intermediate Grade Gymnastic Team which competed at the Bay of Plenty Regional Championships, towards the end of last year.
