The Graceful Sport

The Gisborne Skating Club held its championships at the club's rink, on November 18. This most graceful, but exacting of sports has an increasing following and a large number of competitors took part in the events.

The junior open freeskating title was won by Jane Duske. Jane also won the juvenile singles, the junior open figures, equal, and was second in the open dance pairs, with Sandra Cumming.
