Three in a Row

Three times in a row, the Takitimu Sea Scouts have won the Naval Recognition Pennant. A pennant is awarded to each of the twelve top groups in the country, each year, and the Takitimu group has come up trumps for the third time in its area. The pennant was presented by Lt/Cmdr F. E. J. Mason, M.B.E., R.N.Z.N., and accepted for the group by David Markie and Bruce Wallen.
