Town's Women's Guild Celebrates 37th Birthday
The Gisborne Town's Women's Guild celebrated its 37th birthday recently, with an afternoon party in the Pensioners' Room in Palmerston Road. Items were presented, the highlight being the bracket of songs given by the guild's Singing Circle.
Cutting the birthday cake with the Mayoress, Mrs H. H. Barker, is one of the oldest members, Mrs V. Walworth.
