Solo-Three Times

Tim Healey, 16, set a record in Gisborne when he flew solo in three different aircraft in one afternoon recently. Tim had completed only 12 hours flying time so his achievement was noteworthy, to say the least.

Healey, Island Road, is a student at the Gisborne Boys' High School and is studying for university entrance. He intends to take up flying as a career.
