Members of the Gisborne Garden Club spent some time recently, making up parcels containing small gifts of fruit and flowers, which were distributed to the young people staying at the Health Camp. The parcels were taken to the Health Camp by Mesdames Joy Kinlock, Bunty Divinden and Dot Grey. Some of the happy children are shown with the gifts, while at back are, from left, Mrs Grey, Mrs M. Escott, Miss L. Wilson (matron), Mrs Kinlock, Mrs Divinden and Miss J. Walsh

The chairman of the Board of the Federation of Health Camps was also a visitor to Gisborne, recently. He is Mr Anthony Morcom-Green of Auckland.

$33.00 was presented to the Donnelly Training Centre by Jenny Okeby and Sally Cairns (right) on behalf of the girls of the 6th form liberal studies' class at the Girls' High School. The students raised the money at a sweets' stall, opened during the running of the High School sports. Mr Eddie Houlihan, Donnelly Centre supervisor, is pictured accepting the cheque.
