The Maori Women's Welfare League held a delightful garden party and millinery parade by the side of the swimming pool at the Richardson residence in Riverside Road. "Juliette" millinery and handbags from Gisborne Leathenes were featured by the six models who were, from left, Mesdames J. Babbington, K. McFarlane, Miss K. McFarlane, D. de Thiery, P. Kaua, and M. Brown.
