Changing Face

Still the face of Gisborne changes with alterations going on and new buildings going up.

Adding the new uncluttered look to the Gisborne street scene are these modern light standards in Bright Street. Underground power supply gives a much neater look to the city here.

The new Post Office Welfare holiday units were opened just before Christmas. They are situated in Awapuni Road.

Extensive alterations are taking place at the Baptist Church in Palmerston Road. Costing $35,000, furnishings included, the alterations are expected to be completed by early May.
