Out & About

More Than 11 Hundred

What must have been one of the largest single drafts of fat lambs ever to leave the East Coast region, was picked recently from Koura Station, Ruatoria. In all, 1108 lambs were drafted fat off their mothers by Dalgety's Ruatoria representative, John Cameron.

Visit By National Coach

National netball coach Marion Smith held special coaching classes in Gisborne on February 15 and 16, the only days the Rothmans Sports Foundation sponsored tutor could fit into her tight 1971 schedule. A bit early in the season, but not too soon for the large crowds of netball players to take advantage of her tuition.
