Records Smashed

Records went by the board at the St Mary's College swimming sports, held at the McGlashen Pool on February 14. Of particular note were the performances of Philippa Mclntyre, in winning the senior championship. In her heat of the 33 l/3rd yards breaststroke, Philippa created a new record of 24.8 seconds. In the finals she clipped off another .3 of a second, to set the new record of 24.5.
