Enjoyable Trip

Four Generations

Canada Bound

×

More than 25 members of the Old Folk's Association enjoyed a very pleasant bus trip recently. They left Gisborne, spent some time in Wairoa, stayed in Napier the night, spent the next day in Hastings and returned home in the late afternoon. The company was very con-genial and everyone had a jolly good time.

From Mrs R. Owen, 123 Tyndall Road, we have this picture of four generations in the family. At back left is Mrs Owen, at back right her father, Mr R. Durston, and in the centre is his mother, Mrs A. Durston, who is holding Julie Owen, her great-granddaughter.

Off to Canada as an immigrant is Helen Campbell of Te Karaka. Helen, who is the daughter of Mr and Mrs H. D. Campbell, Te Karaka, was employed as a dressmaker in Gisborne, before giving in to this yen to live on the topside of the world.
