Fine New Depot

The new N.Z. Railway Road Services' bus station and depot was officially opened by the Hon. J. B. Gordon, Minister of Railways, on November 20. Also in the official party were Mrs Gordon, the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs H. H. Barker, Mrs Esme Tombleson, M.P., and the General Manager of Railways, Mr Thomas, and Mrs Thomas.

The fine new depot is on the corner of Childers Road and Bright Street, which gives it a very convenient situation.
