First Innings Win To Gisborne
A lead of 67 runs gave Poverty Bay a first innings win over Franklin in the match at the Harry Barker Reserve on November 20 and 21. Franklin replied to Poverty Bay's first innings total of 113 with a score of 46, In their second innings Franklin were more impressive, being all out for 156. However, rain stopped play during Poverty Bay's second innings, thus giving them a first innings win.
