From Mrs A. J. Quirk, Massey Road, we have these panoramas of the old mill, and bush scene, at Motuhora. Thousands of feet of timber were milled up here between the time the mill was started, in 1912, until about 1921. From the left in the top picture we can see the mill, the stables, and behind them the boarding house. In the lower picture is the village at left, while on the right is the railway station

From Mr Tom McConnell, 115 Fox Street, comes this old photo of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club taken in 1910 when the club won the Licensed Victuallers' Shield. From left, at back, are — Weston, M.
