The new district manager for the Dominion Life Assurance Office is Mr Robin Gilchrist who is pictured with his wife Glenis, and their sons, from left, Todd, Dwaine and Karl. Mr Gilchrist, who transferred from Paimerston North, is the immediate past president of that city's Jaycee chapter.

Mark Sceats, 18, son of Mr and Mrs P. Sceats, Hall Street, recently received his Queen's Scout badge. A Te Hapara Venturer, Mark has been in the scouting movement for nine years.

Taking 12 months leave of absence from the Post Office Savings Bank is Suzanne Ovenden, daughter of Mr and Mrs Grant Ovenden, 16 Gordon Street. Suzanne, who celebrated her 21st birthday recently, will visit both England and the Continent.

Frank Hoggins, son of Mr and Mrs R. Hoggins, 294 Palmerston Road, graduated B.Sc. from Massey University. Frank, who is an old boy of Edmund Campion College, is now studying for his Master's Degree.

Robyn McGregor, daughter of Mr and Mrs R. J. McGregor, Wainui Beach, has passed her final exams at the Hastings Memorial Hospital, where she has done her training. Robyn's engagement was announced recently to John, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. N. Price, "Fernglen," Patoka.
