Club Wins Travel Award
Waihirere Group Given Trophy
The Travel Enterprise Award, made each year to the person or persons who have, in the eyes of the Gisborne branch of the N.Z. National Travel Association, contributed most to the Gisborne tourist industry, was this year presented to the Waihirere Maori Club.
The presentation was, this year, held at the new Sandown Park Motor Hotel.

The founder of the club, Mr Bill Kerekere, now of Wellington, joins in the items presented by the club after the presentation of the award.
