Film Premiere Raises $600
Elderly Citizens' to Benefit
A premiere showing of the film "Raid On Rommel" (Left) at the Odeon Theatre raised just on $600 for the Turanga Lions Club's elderly citizens' comfort fund.
This was organised by Lion Tom Walker who presented a cheque for the amount raised to the club president, Lion Max McKenzie (ABOVE), after the interval.
A full house assured success for the project.
