Long Service Recognised

Presentation at Annual Inspection

To mark the resignation of Miss Y. Sinclair as District Nursing Superintendent of St John, two presentations were made to her at the St John annual inspection, held in the brigade hall recently. Miss Sinclair, who is matron at Cook Hospital and has given 35 years' service to St John, has relinquished her connection with the brigade due to pressure of work.

From the district staff Hawkes Bay-East Coast Centre Miss Sinclair received a beautiful dressing table set, and from the Gisborne brigade and nursing division, the waterfront division and the cadet division, Miss Sinclair received a combined electric clock and calendar. At the inspection, which was made by District Commissioner H. E. Taylor of Hastings, service and exam certificates were also presented.
