She's Miss International Bernadine Torrie Wins Title

The Turanganui Guides held a special costume evening to mark International Night. The Cook Street hall had an anxious atmosphere as the 36 Guides, dressed as a Guiding member of another country, awaited the judge's decision. After much deliberation Bernadine Torrie (Hungarian) was named the winner.
