Cock O' the Walk

Good entries for this year's annual poultry show were staged in the Sheepfarmers' woolstore in Innes Street. The birds were in top condition, making the judges' task very difficult.

Mr M. Wooster's Golden Duckwing Cock was awarded Best Game Fowl in Show.

Mr Wooster also won Champion Bird of Show with this Rhode Island Red Cockerel which is held by Mrs Wooster. This bird also won three cups and three special awards.

Claire Wells holds Mr H. F. Struthers' Black Rosecomb Cockerel which was Best Bantam in Show.

Carl Andrew holds his sister Louise's Black Pekin hen, Best Bird in Children's Section.

Maree Wells and her red canary took Best Feathered Pet, and Best Pet in the children's pet parade

Mr Charlie Wells's Dark Leg Partridge hen took Best Opposite Sex in Show
