Just Like the Real Thing

A Civil Defence exercise was undertaken recently by Venturers after a course of lectures over the previous eight weeks. Staged at Thos. Corson and Son's new building under construction, where a roof collapse was simulated, the exercise proved that the group, augmented by Scouts and Guides, could act in a mature and progressive fashion under disaster conditions,
