Clothing by the Mile the Long Journey
As part of a social studies project the girls of 4A at the Girls' High School organised a clothes drive throughout the school. The result amounted to over 1000 garments and these were taken by 4A to the Red Cross for distribution by them as they see fit and where needed.
The pupils of the Whakaangiangi School (out of Ruatoria) made the long trip to Gisborne recently to see for themselves what goes on in the big smoke. They visited various places of interest and here they are seen as they prepare to explore the mysteries of Radio 2ZG.
