The Who's Who of the Maltese dog world, "The Maltese Dog," in its second edition (and first with a New Zealand section), makes mention of Mrs Drucie Wood's two dogs, Champion Snow Fairy of Carabelle (Dixie for short) and the English imported Rhosneigr Snow Juliet (Tina) at right. Only 12 dogs from 50 of the kennels registered in New Zealand are mentioned in this massive U.S.A.-produced book with world-wide distribution, so it is quite an honour.
