Take Me Away from all This!

To quieter climes at least. So seems to be saying 11-year-old Waihuka Amethyst 311th (Above) at Waihuka Stud's recent annual sale of stock.

This was the 40th sale conducted by Common, Shelton & Co. for Waihuka in 60 years of business, and the first to be held on the property. The Trentham sale ring wasn't in it. Every provision was made to pamper buyer and stock alike in the covered sale ring.

All told the 39 lots sold for a total of $29,950. Incidentally Waihuka Amethyst went for $650.
