One in The Eye for the Rain

Despite the large number of wet days, growers still managed to bring forth enough blooms to make this year's Chrysanthemum Show a colourful success.

We photographed some of the exhibitors preparing for the show, when a lot of care and thought goes into the staging of the blooms and floral art work.

The typical beauty of the chrysanthemum is shown in this bloom, "Connie Mayhew," which took premier bloom honours in the medium exhibition class for Mrs B. H. Constable.
