Making Good in Melbourne

lan Butler, son of Mr and Mrs J. Butler, 7 Glasgow Crescent, has now been in Melbourne, Australia, for seven years. Previously with the Gisborne Herald, Ian is a stonehand with the Melbourne Age.

Ian is shown with his son Dean and daughter Karen. Dean, who plays Australian Rules for the under-10 team of the Thomastown Youth Club, last season won the trophies for the best and fairest player (left trophy) and for the most goals kicked during the season (right). Karen plays netbali and is also in the cheer gang to shout encouragement to Dean on the field.
