Big Day For Cubs

A large and varied programme was organised for Cubs in the Gisborne District on National Cub Day.

After the assembly, and investiture of the Lone Cub, the packs were addressed by Mayor Barker. The day's programme included demonstrations by the Fire Brigade, chopping, stamps, firearms, judo, dog handling and shearing displays.
