Outstanding Earthenware

An outstanding exhibition of earthenware by some of New Zealand's leading potters, organised by the Gisborne Pottery Group, was opened in the Art Gallery on 9 March.

Works by Len Castle, Graeme Storm, Margaret Milne and Peter Knuckey were among the exhibits.

Comments such as "You don't see anything like that in Gisborne" are, of course, so much rubbish as some of our local potters' work is up to the same standard. It's a matter of time and whether you go professional or not - ain't it?
