Strong Emotional Content In Unity Drama

Unity Theatre's next play, "A Day In The Death Of Joe Egg", has strong emotional content leavened with touches of comedy. The story features the inability of a couple to accept the fact that their child is intellectually handicapped.

The play is set in England, although the situation could be anywhere, and Joe Egg derives from an English saying. Producer Jack Roderick has the drama well in hand for presentation at the theatre from 3 April to 7. The play is Unity's entry in the nationwide Benson and Hedges sponsored competition, and will be judged by Anthony Taylor. These shots were taken at rehearsal.
