$1,000,000 Worth Of Luxury For Gisborne

The palatial new Dominion Breweries Hotel in Tyn-dall Road, Kaiti, is now open. Luxurious rooms, restaurant, lounges and bars are indeed spacious.

Twenty-six twin rooms and an executive suite, all with private facilities, plus piped music, radio, TV, and telephone, provide accommodation for 56. Top quality furniture and carpets throughout, with beautiful mahogany suites in the units set the keynote for a million dollars' worth of luxury.

Four bars (house, sportsman's, quiet social, and music and entertainment) provide differing facilities for social drinking. The 40,000 square foot complex was designed by local architects Glengarry, Corson & Pilbrow, and built by J. L. McMillan and Lockwood Ltd. with local firms doing the subcontracting.
