At the final Jaycee meet-ing for 1970 the annual awards were presented by the president, Mike Brittenden. From left, president Mike, Gary Robinson (most unusual project), Keith Thomas (best master-at-arms), Les McGreevy (intercommission debate), Robin McGreevy (merit award certificate), Dave McEwen (introduction of most new members, impromptu speech, best presented project), Barry Henderson (most active new member), Graham Harries (Spoke award),. Bob Knight (Jaycee of the year), Andy Pritchard (spark plug award), and Bob Brady (oratory award). Two new trophies were presented for the first time.
