Better Breeding

A series of three field days, emphasising the increasing advantages of good breeding in relation to lamb and wool production, is being held by the Department of Agriculture for farmers in the Gisboxne district. The first of these, held at Coventry Station, Muriwai, dealt with the advantages of the Perendale, a good breed on hard country. The other two days will be held in the early part of next year, and will deal with Coopworths and Romneys.
