Helping Others

The Gisborne Social Group for the Disabled does a very worthwhile job, giving outings to disabled people in Gisborne. Members are willing to take the time to transport these people out and about for social occasions, thus giving them the opportunity to meet other people in a warm and friendly atmosphere. One such occasion recently was an outing to the orchard and gardens of Mr and Mrs L. Grey at Ormond. Afternoon tea and a sing-a-long with Father Playfair provided a very enjoyable interlude for everyone concerned.
