Elegant Gowns

Very attractive models paraded some beautiful fashions from the Benson and Hedges Award For Fashion 1970 in a parade held in the Albion Hotel River Bar. Highlight of the evening, which was organised by the Turanga Lions Club, Benson and Hedges, Common Sheitons and Hammon Jewellery, was the appearance of Miss New Zealand, Glenys Treweek. A capacity crowd crammed the bar for the parade.
