Presentation Dinner

A presentation dinner and cabaret was held by the Gisborne Police to mark the retirement of Detective Sergeant. B. H. Constable, who retired as head of the Gisborne C.I.B. after 34 years' service with the department.

In the official party were, from left, Superintendent C. J. Bell and Mrs Bell, Assistant Commissioner K. B. Burnside, Detective Sergeant and Mrs Constable, Chief Superintendent R. A. Moore, Mrs J. G. Williams, Mrs R. A. Moore, and Chief Inspector J. G. Williams.
