Diamond Wedding. Celebrants of their 60th wedding anniversary recently were Mr and Mrs A. Scholium of 25 Stanley Road. The Scholiums have resided all their married lives at their Stanley Road home. Mr Scholium was in the carrying business for 30 years until the business, now Nicols Transport, was bought out. He then became tally clerk for the Gisborne Sheepfarmers until he retired three years ago. The Scholiums are pictured with their immediate family. From left: Len (Auckland), Mr and Mrs Scholium, Maureen (Mrs Little) and Ron, both of Gisborne.
