Crowning Success

More than $18,000 was raised from the Olympic Pool Carnival. The Swimming Queen, Shona Twisleton, emerged the successful queen and was duly crowned with pomp and circumstance at the Coronation Ball held in the Poho-o-rawiri Hall. ABOVE–Embarking in a triumphant royal progression around the hall is the successful candidate escorted by two of her princesses, Denise Croskery and Robyn Aylward.
