Glittering Debut

A glittering debut was made into society by 24 girls at the first ever Ringatu Church Ball organised by the Tarere Marae Church committee. The debs were presented to, and blessed by, the "Poutikanga", Pillar of the Ringatu Church, the Reverend Paora Delamere. The function was held in the Y.M.C.A. stadium which had been especially decorated for the ball.
