many Happies
A happy day was spent at the Old Folk's Association clubrooms by the August birth-day celebrants and other guests. Entertainment was plentiful and varied before the cutting of the cake.
Highlight of the items were the songs sung by members of the Townswomen's Guild choir. With accompanist, Miss E. Greenwood, they are, from left, Mesdames U. Ovenden, T. Knowles, E. Nicholson, T. Bacon, M. Wood, A. Butler, O. Darling and B. Bacon.
Cute Toni Clout danced for the oldies.
