The Young Leos (a junior section of the Lions organisation) made their first presentation recently when they gave an Exercycle to the Intellectually Handicapped Children Society. The Exercycle was presented to I.H.C. president Nora Steed at a recent Leo meeting. Angela Stratton, daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Stratton, 541 Childers Road, was presented with her first prize of $5 for the person gaining the most sponsors for the "Hike For History" sponsored walk. This walk was held in June to raise funds for the restoration of the historic cottage next to the museum in Stout Street.

Mrs G. Slade, 2 Adair Road, found this rare bunch of oranges growing among the other fruit on their tree at the side of the house. Twenty-four sweet oranges made up this freak bunch which is most unusual.
