Norman Maclean, a staff member of the Boys' High School, has left for an overseas working holiday. Norman, the son of Mrs D. Barron, "Wai-o-hika", Waimata Valley, expects to be away for about two years. The first ten months he will spend in Israel, and after that hopes to go to England, Italy and Greece.
