A cheque for $310 was presented to the St. John Ambulance Association by Radio 2ZG recently. The money was raised by 2ZG and the Gisborne Midget Car Club at a meeting at Patutahi last January. Mr F. E. Quayle, after 40 years in Government service, retired recently as administration officer for estates and develop ment with the Department of Maori and Island Affairs. He has spent the last 18 years in Gisborne.

Garth Ritchie, at N.A.C., called us in to have a look at this beaut samoyed dog. A real toff he was too, just in from Melbourne and here to stay in Gisborne.
