Jacci Girvan is holding a rather special banana which was found on top of a case of bananas at the West End Supermarket. It was that much different because it had a Fijian address cut into it. Jacci found it rather intriguing and is going to write to the addressee. If you feel like writing too the address is Miss Jokave-Ti-Ulalea, Nasau, Wainibuka, Taileve-Pa-Natavu, Fiji Island.

Richard Charles Parsons celebrated his 21st birthday recently. Richard, pictured with his parents, is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs M. C. Parsons, Ormond.

The engagement is announced between Heather Jean Phillips, only daughter of Mr and Mrs G. W. Phillips, 32 Orchard Street, Avondale, Auckland, to Hector Hekirangi, second son of Mr and Mrs T. Te Are, Ngatapa. (Mayfair Studios).
